I purchased this for my soon to be 12 year old granddaughter who is an avid Hiker with her father. The plaque is beautifully constructed out of cherry. The individual mountain inserts are very well done as well and made of maple which I chose because it will contrast with the cherry. Each mountain insert has the name of the mountain she hikes along with the height it is above sea level. I can't wait to give it to her on her birthday!
